TrustMark is based around a set of Government-endorsed standards for trade associations, certification bodies and other organisations that wish to become approved scheme operators. Only these scheme operators are allowed to award the TrustMark to registered firms.

TrustMark was launched to the public in January 2006. Only companies who satisfy the stringent conditions of the scheme are authorised to display the TrustMark logo. AJA Registrars are amongst the first wave of scheme operators who will cover many of the trades you might be looking for – from builders, plumbers, electricians and kitchen installation firms, to roofers, home security suppliers and double glazing companies.

Qualifying organisations are shown on this website to enable you to select a quality business to carry out your home improvements, home maintenance and building works. Organisations selected from our list will carry out their work in accordance with the guidelines and code of practice of the scheme with the confidence that the work will be carried out to minimum standards. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the standard of workmanship received then there is a formal complaints procedure that will help you to resolve any problems. We can also supply you with a complaints form if required.

The intention of the scheme is to provide consumers with names of professional and high quality tradesmen and to eliminate the rogue traders who have for so long blighted these industries.
